The following steps are recommended for troubleshooting general issues with using a Foot Pedal with InScribe.
1. Ensure that the foot pedal itself and the plug is clean and free of dust which may cause sticking.
2. Reboot your PC.
3. Unplug the foot pedal and plug it into a different USB port.
4. If you have more than one foot pedal, ensure that only one is plugged into your computer.
5. Reconfigure your foot pedal. You can do this in InScribe by navigating to File > Options
Select Foot Pedals on the left, and then click Foot Pedal Configuration Wizard
6. If you are reconfiguring your foot pedal with the Configuration Wizard, and it is telling you that the button is already configured, try picking up the foot pedal and pressing the buttons to complete the configuration.
