Note: Users working on a domain network may need administrator privileges to install Emdat or any other programs.

1:  Download the InScribe application using the attachment located at the bottom of this article.

2:  Select the version of InScribe you would like to install by clicking the Install Link.  If unsure, contact the transcription company manager to verify which version to install.

3:  Select “Openâ€� or “Runâ€�.

4:  Click "Next."

5:  Read and Accept the End-User License agreement

6:  Unless specifically instructed by the IT (Information Technology) department of your facility, select the option to "Install for all users of this machine" and click "Next."

7:  Select an installation folder. Emdat recommends using the default location unless specifically instructed by the IT department. Click “Nextâ€� to confirm this file path.

8:  Click “Installâ€� to complete the installation.  If prompted by the User Account Control for permission to make changes to the Computer, click "Yes."

9:  Select “Finishâ€� on the following screen. The installation is now complete.
