InQuiry is a web based application, and when a second web based program is launched, InQuiry may automatically log the user off. Other web applications commonly used are EMR user interfaces and Appointment Scheduling programs. To keep this from happening, so that both applications can be used at the same time, follow these instructions:

Open the Internet Explorer web browsing application. Then, access the Tools menu and select "Internet Options."

Click on the "Advanced" tab. Scroll down and uncheck the box for "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts."
