Character Counts In Tables

When tables are used in a transcription, additional characters are counted for table elements. Standard characters and Qualified characters are counted the same as they would be outside of a table. One additional character is counted for the table and each line of the table counts as an additional character. Cells within each line are not counted separately.

Here is an example:

Besides the charge for the standard and QT characters typed, you would add the following for the example above:

1 Character for the table 4 Characters for each line within the table

The table above would be a total of 5 additional characters.
