Sometimes a client will need to use certain fields that need to be relabeled to help the transcriptionist type the appropriate information onto the fields. These can be renamed on the Demographic Field Labels panel of Client Maintenance.

Client Maintenance > Client Defaults > Demographic Field Labels

When a print template request is submitted, we will reference this page to find out where we should pull the information from. We will look at the filled in fields first, and then use the gray fields (the default names) as a backup if we can not find a relabeled field to use.

Date Fields

These fields will only accept valid dates.

• Birth Date
• Appointment Date
• Admit Date
• Discharge Date

Label Display Fields

These fields are only used to change the label displays, and are not actual fill in fields. (ex: The client works with "subjects" instead of "patients")

• Patient
• Patients (plural form of above)
• Order
• Orders (plural form of above)
• Appointment
• Appointments (plural form of above)

Special Fields

• Gender - only accepts one character
• User Fields - only active in InScribe and InQuiry when something is filled in these fields.
