This article will provide a running list of recorders that we have discovered are not compatible with 64-bit operating systems, Windows 7, or Windows 8.

Many users purchasing new computers will have installed Windows 7, Windows 8, or 64-bit Operating systems. These users may have trouble installing their recorders, especially older models. (Please note, that Windows 7, Windows 8,  Vista 64-bit, and XP 64-bit all have the same problem)

Please Note: These recorders are still fully compatible with InSync. Additionally, 64-bit operating systems are fully compatible with InSync. Unfortunately, the manufacturer(s) do not support these specific models anymore and will not be releasing driver software that allows them to be used with 64-bit operating systems. 

These models have been confirmed to be incompatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, and 64-bit operating systems. Olympus DS-330 Olympus DS-660 Olympus DS-3000

We have contacted Olympus and they no longer support these models and will not be creating drivers for them.
