Transcription Activity Log Q and A - Fax Entries
This article will address a couple of questions that may occur when looking at the activity logs of a transcription.
Questions:
1) Why is there a "Viewed" log entry in the Activity Log found in either InCommand or InQuiry with a blank username as if there was no username logged in?
2) Why are there entries for "Fax Created" and "Fax Send Succeeded" with a username that does not appear in the anywhere in the system?
Please see the sample Activity Log below for examples of these entries. The log entries in question are highlighted yellow.

Answers:
All of these log entries are related to the autofax functionality.
1) Before the fax can be created, the system logs a "View" in order see the transcription to create an image for the faxing process.
2) The username displayed on the entry logs "Fax Created" and "Fax Send Succeeded" is the last name of the associate that the fax was sent to. This is an especially useful feature when there are multiple associates on a transcription receiving faxes.
