This article will discuss the difference between making a Transcription ID (TID) a STAT vs a changing a job Priority and how to make the changes in InCommand from the Outstanding tab.

In eSOne, the priority level of a job and its designation as STAT are two distinct criteria:

  • Priority - Is a numerical priority of the job in descending order. 1 is the highest priority, and a 10 is the lowest.
  • STAT - Is a designation that marks a file for a different pay rate and charge listed as a Modifier on the InVison Reports.

Marking an individual job as STAT:

If you open a transcription in Outstanding Jobs to view the Dictation Information window, these two options look like this:

If you put a check mark in the STAT checkbox, then it will automatically change the priority to 2. You can then change the priority to another number if it is needed.

Please note, if you change the Priority to 2, it does not automatically mark the job as a STAT.

So, if you mark a file as STAT from this window, make sure you use the STAT checkbox.

Marking a file(s) STAT in a batch:

You can place checkmarks in one or more files that you would like to change and then use the Modify button to change aspects of the transcription:

If you have not specified a Client in your search, th the Modify window looks like this:

As you can see, there is a Priority option here but NO STAT option.  This makes this a poor way to mark multiple files STAT.

Instead, make sure you always have a Client selected for your search:

This will cause the Modify window to look like this:

Always search by Client when marking files STAT in batch with the Modify button and make sure to use the STAT pull down menu.
