This article will discuss how to fix an issue where multiple InScribe6 applications play dictation at the same time when they are open.

This happens because each InScribe6 that has an audio file loaded is getting the message from the footpedal, hotkey, or shortcut to play the dictation - even if that InScribe is minimized or not focused.

This ability for InScribe to start and stop dictation even when it is not focused can be turned off here:

File > Options > Advanced > Use Global Function Keys

Make sure this option is unchecked if you have this problem.
