Error Logging Into ShadowPrint

This article will discuss a possible problem that could occur when attempting to log in to the ShadowPrint Configuration Utility. The Authentication Error states, "Unable to find a valid user matching those credentials, please check the entered values and try again."

First, verify that the credentials being entered are correct. These settings are made in the InCommand > Advanced Maintenance > ShadowPrint > Services > Edit Service > Login & Password fields

Error in Configuration Utility System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException: The security timestamp is invalid because its creation time <Date and Time> is in the future. Current time is <Date and Time> and allowed clock skew is '00:05:00'.

This message indicates that the installation computer's clock is off by more than 5 minutes. This is a security measure built into our web services to prevent an attacker from gaining access to our systems.

To solve this problem -

Please change the time on the installation machine to match the time on the server. You DO NOT need to change the time zone on the computer.

If the computer time is determined by syncing with a server, then the time on the server should be corrected also.
